I feel this. I'm very familiar with Johnny Cash; his music, his biography, his beliefs. I think this captures the loneliness he often felt. I can see the man in black in this, and the very stark technique is perfect for him. I also like the attention to detail in such a simple portrait, such as his wrist watch. I will note that I feel like I should be seeing more of the guitar; its neck feels unfinished to me a bit, though perhaps it is meant to be movng out of the shot. Overall, it's his expression that captures me here, and the darkness that seemed to always loom up in his life.
